Orientation for grade 1 students:

The feeling of belonging is crucial for everyone. Children want to feel that not only with their families but also with the environment they are in. Since today, schools are the best places for children to get ready for the future, continue life and socialize it might be worrying for a child if s/he has problems fitting in. On the first day of school having a new environment, new friends and teachers might cause some anxiety. In order to release that, there is an orientation program for two half days for the first grade students  along with their parents to get to know their school and teachers before school opens. During those days students meet their teachers and learn about the flow of the days at school.The administration and the guidance department hold meetings with the first grade parents during this period

Orientation for other grade level  students:

A number of meetings are held for the students who are successful in the transfer exams and get to be an İzmir SEV student during the orientation program:

• An academic meeting is held for the student and his/her parents after the transfer exam.
• An informative meeting is held with the parents by the administration where parents are informed about:

• School Philosophy and Objectives
• Communication
• Academic Studies
• Studies on social and emotional progress
• Daily flow

• An informative meeting is held with the students by the administration and the guidance department. The agenda of the meeting includes:

• Meeting with the advisors
• Information on the flow of the day at school
• İnforming about the facilities at the school
• School tour
