Our Grade 3 students gave a presentation during our assembly periods on December 4 where they portrayed various festivals from around the world with an audio / video presentation. The presentation was very colorful and informative. This particular topic was chosen because it is a learning objective in the studies they conduct in their English lessons. Learning about the traditions of different cultures and being respectful to them is an important learning outcome that is also embeded in our school’s philosophy and objectives. Such sharings provide a meaningful way of accomplishing this goal.
