The Izmir SEV Schools participated in the excitement of the World Education Games that took place between October 13-15 with the involvement of approximately five million primary and secondary school students around the world competing online in three main areas: Science (Into Science), Maths (Mathletics) and Literacy (Spellodrome)...

 

In this event organized  by the English Department, the students in grades two through eight competed under the guidance of their English teachers. In days leading up to this event, the students were familiarized with the format of the competition and some sample questions. During the event, our students competed against their peers around the world, most of which were native speakers of English. It made us very proud to see our school’s name in the top 100 schools on the scoreboard that was constantly being updated based on points earned in each area. Certificates were presented to the top five ranking students during assembly.
