As it is every year, on Tuesday November 10, 2015 as the clocks were showing 9:05 am, the time stopped at our schools. The memorial events began with our students performing the ‘walk of respect’ to Atatürk. During the memorial day assembly it was emphasized that our duty was to not only demonstrate our love and respect to Atatürk by assemblies but by assuming ownership of the values and our country that he left us.
