Our Grade 6 student Deniz Vural won the “Pickering College Global Leadership Personal Essay Competition” held on a global-scale by the Pickering College; a very prestigious K-12 school in Canada. Her award-wining essay was titled “Clean Water for Everyone” and pointed out to the increasing demand for clean water around the world and made some excellent suggestions about how governments should solve this  problem. Deniz won a summer program at Pickering College as a prize.

We congratulate her for her world-wide success and thank our grade 6 teachers Evelyn Sebik and Charlotte Moffatt for supporting and guiding her in the process.
