World Book and Copyright Day is organized by UNESCO on April 23 every year to celebrate the contributions of books and authors to our global culture and the connection between copyright and books. In our World Book and Coyright Day Assembly this week, our 5th, 6th, and 7th grade students presented the book talks and trailers they prepared about their favourite books and emphasized the significance of reading as the first step to be well-educated and well-prepared for life. At the end of the assembly, our 5th grade students presented their favourite book characters to the school community together with their English teachers Zoe Salvemini and Cory Kempling.
