After reading the novel, Just Kidding, which is on bullying, our 5th graders initiated a school-wide ‘Say No to Bullying Campaign’ at school that involved all students from all grade levels. They created a unity tree by writing anti-bullying slogans on its branches and leaves to remind everyone that bullying can be prevented when we all come together. The anti-bullying unity tree will be displayed in the hallway till the end of the year.  As the number of leaves increases and the tree grows, it will serve as a powerful symbol and a visual reminder showing us that when we are united, we can create social change.
