The founder of Globed – E-Learning Technologies Company, Mr. Esat Uğurlu gave an interactive presentation about the Importance of Technology and Digital Litearcy  in the 21st Century to our 5th, 6th and 7th grade students. Mr. Uğurlu started his presentation by giving examples from the latest technology inventions such as Google Glass, 3D metal printer, wireless headphones that translate in real time and  self-driving cars, saying that some students in the audience can also invent tools and gadgets like these in the future and one way to be able to do this is to be updated with the innovations and needs. The differentiated digital reading platform, Achieve 3000 our students are using is an ideal resource for the future inventors, Mr Uğurlu went on, as it includes more than 10:000 media articles on different topics, such as, art, history, science, and technology which the students can read at their own lexile level. Our students participated in this engaging and interactive presentation enthusiastically.
