234 Grade 6 Language Arts At the end of the ‘Story Elements’ unit, all grade 6 students were asked to write a story that included an organized plot and well-developed characters. Cory Kempling Neal Cooke Defne KÜRÜM The Short Story Project was about the story elements topic. We were studying the parts of a story. We did character charts for our characters, and we made a story plan, and then wrote some awesome stories. For example, I made my story about a girl called Amy and her brother Harry. Harry was trapped in a different dimension and a dark soul-like thing was controlling him. Any had an amulet that could banish the dark thing and she went inside the dimension to save her brother. So after we wrote our stories according to the plans we made, Miss Cory and Mr. Cooke graded our projects according to the project rubric.
