268 Nehir ÖZENER This year in CE class we did a project called Spooky Story. In this project we wrote a spooky story using our imagination. The process of coming up with the story was hard and rewarding. Here is a little summary of my own story. I wrote about 4 kids who went trick or treating and when they stopped by Mrs. Tunman’s house and saw that the door was open. They debated whether to enter or not but they ended up entering. Once they entered, they heard screams coming from the living room. They became so scared ….. No spoilers, you will need to read it for yourselves. From this project I learned how to come up with a spooky story and keep the content interesting. To show you this I want to share a little snapshot of my favorite part of my story: “There were lights switching on and off. Every time we took a step and the screams were still audible!! All of a sudden we heard a tick and we all shouted and screamed at the same time! “This is all your fault, Robert.” “I could’ve been eating my treats at home right now instead of being here scared to death!” İpek ERGENECİ In the spooky story project, we needed to write a horror story and make a poster which had some pictures about the content of our story. I wrote a horror story which was about four girls who went trick or treating and things that happened when they entered an abandoned haunted church.. Here is the favorite part of my story “Haunted Church”: “… The electricity came back and they were shocked by what they saw. There was an Ouija Board on the floor. They realized what they were going to do. They must play this game, if they didn’t, they were going to die in that haunted old church.” This project was hard to do but I had fun while doing it. While doing this project, I learned about Ouija Board, Zozo, and how to write better. Erin CEYHAN I am happy because I got to write a spooky story. This project was one of my favorite projects this year because we created our own unique stories using our imagination. In this project, we wrote a story and the story had to be spooky. Everyone wrote about the same topic but all of our stories turned out to be very different. I think this is what makes this idea and the project so cool. I feel like everybody had fun because of the topic. You know spooky things are always fun because they involve unordinary things like ghosts, vampires etc. In my story I had a psychopath. My favorite part in my story is in the end: “They never broke the rule again because the death of their dad was enough for them to be sad forever.” This is my favorite part because it shows the sisters’ strong love for their father. I learned to use the correct story writing techniques from this project. I hope we will do more projects like this in the future. I really like it. Yiğit SEYMEN We did a project called “Spooky Story” in our CE lessons. Our purpose was to create a story that was spooky, interesting, and exciting. I wrote a story about the missing plane of Malaysia Airlines MH370. In the story there were boys that went outside for the traditional Halloween activity of “Trick or Treating”. They spent a little time on the street claiming some goods and when the boys found the missing plane, they entered the plane and went on a great adventure. My favorite part of the story was the part where the pilots flew the plane and caused the adventure. At that very moment, the pilots were souls and the kids thought that they couldn’t do anything. Unfortunately, the boys they found themselves above the city and they experienced a dangerous adventure. In the end I can say I learned how to write a spooky story by using strong methods.
