294 Melissa ABAY In our English lessons, we did so many activities and one of them was the play, Wooing Wed Widing Hood. In this play, there are some difficult characters and scenes that make the play more realistic and fun to watch. In order to put on this play, we worked really hard to memorize our lines and act like our characters. Acting like the characters wasn’t that easy, but we tried our best. When we finally finished practicing, we performed it for our parents and friends. When we were performing, we had a lot of fun. We worked as a team, and we helped each other. I can’t say that we didn’t have any problems while performing it, but I can say that doing a play with friends, working as a team, and performing a play was a good memory to have. Hi, we are Ela Kızak and Su Naz Soykan. We are going to share our experiences from our play called “Wooing Wed Widing Hood.” Su Naz was the Queen and the narrator, and Ela was The Evil Queen. Su Naz - I was so excited because I got the role I wanted. It was hard for me to memorize all the lines. It took me a long time to change into my queen costume. The lights turned on before I could change and it was so weird. Ela - I was so happy because I really wanted to be The Evil Queen. So when I got the part I shouted “YESS.” It was not that hard to memorize because I didn’t have a lot of lines. We both liked our roles, so it was really fun to perform. Although there were some minor mistakes, the audience didn’t realize it, so it was not a problem. For example, in the Evil Queen part, the lightning effect didn’t work, so it was a little bit awkward. In conclusion, the play was so fun and we loved eating Pop Kek afterwards.
