When I was in 4th grade, I didn’t know anything about this but now, I can compare and contrast things in writing. This writing task was a lot of fun! I liked working with my friends. We helped each other. Ms.Göknur helped us, too. I learned so many things while doing this project. My English has improved a lot this year. I really enjoyed this project and working with my friends, too... Berk KURTARAN There are a lot of similarities between rules at home and rules at school but there are also some differences. I eat lunch both at home and at school but there is a difference. At school I must wait in line patiently but at home my mum brings my lunch to my desk. In both, I have responsibilities. At home I keep my room spotless and in school, I keep my desk spotless. Both my teachers and my parents make me read book. There are rules that are different. In school I can’t play video games but at home I can do whatever I want. At school, I must eat lunch but at home I don’t have many rules. In school I must obey the 3 Golden rules but at home I don’t have many rules to obey.At school teachers make me walk but at home my parents let me run. At home my mum lets me sleep but in school I can’t sleep. I love rules (sometimes)!! Alis DENIZ Some of the rules are different and some rules are the same. Like my parents make me say, ‘thank you’ and ‘please’. They make me turn off the lights before I leave a room at home and in school these rules are the same. But some rules are different, like my parents let me look at my phone but the school doesn’t let me look at my phone. And the school doesn’t let me wear whatever I want but my parents let me wear whatever I like to wear. But I know we need to respect rules and they are for our safety. Dorukhan ÇEVEN There are lots of similarities between the rules at home and the rules at school But there are also some differences. At home and at school some of the rules are similar. My teachers don’t let me run in school. My parents don’t let me runat home. My teachers make me do my work at school. My parents make me do my work at home. My teachers make me obey the community rules at school. My parents make me obey the community rules at home. Some rules are different. My teachers don’t let me play on my phone in school. My parents let me play with my phone at home. My teachers let me play football or basketball at break time. My parents don’t let me play sports at home. At home and at school, there are some rules. And we obey these rules because rules are important for your life.
