Defne CARFI In the Growth Mindset Project, first we watched videos about growth mindset. Next we took notes about the video and then we got into groups. We compared notes and we made a poster. We took notes about growth mindset. Then we got in to groups. My partner was Berk. I did a project with him. Our notes helped us. We drew pictures and published our writing. We had fun. I learned: growth mindset is good but fixed mindset isn’t. Our brain is like our muscles. We mustn’t give up, we must survive. If we learn more, our neurons connect more. Mistakes are no big deal. We learn from our mistakes .Mistakes helps us to grow our brains. In my opinion growth mindset will help me in my life because now I won’t give up easily anymore. H seyin Demir ALTAŞ In English class we did lots of projects. One of them is a project on GROWTH MINDSET. Growth mindset is a way of thinking. It’s positive thinking and not giving up. A person with a fixed mindset would say “I can’t do it,I failed again.”A person with a growth mindset would say, “How can I do it better? I will try harder.”I worked with my friend Nesim on this project. We did research on growth mindset and watched videos in class. Then we prepared a poster explaining growth mindset. We wrote quotes and drew pictures. I like this project because it encouraged me. I will always try to have a growth mindset. GROWTHMINDSET Developing the right mindset early on is crucial for a successful, happy life. When students learn that putting forth effort and using the right strategies can help them get better at things, they feel empowered, and try harder. When they know their brains are capable of growing, they are more confident, resilient, and are not afraid to fail!
