It was a great project for imagining and creating. Everybody created creative islands. This project also helped us with our Core English. We learned how to use should/shouldn’t, have to don’t have to and must/mustn’t. Can Ares RIMER For my island project we had a great time we were making our own island. We used must, have to and should. We made up 10 rules. I wrote “You must have a job” and ”You should be happy”. I drew my own island and it looked like a face. We worked in pairs and helped each other. This project helped us to understand must and should in an interesting and fun way . İzel and I had a really good time. Atilla Kerem SEVINÇLI This project was really fun because we used our creativity and our imaginations. Kaan Pala and I made a banana island. This was the best project. Our Island had some simple rules like: you must wear a banana costume, you have to avoid the banana volcano, etc.. I want to live on that island because I love bananas! MY ISLAND “My Island” project was one of the many projects we did in 6th Grade Core English Classes this term. This project was all about creativity. Our students imagined that they were the kings and queens of their own island. They designed an island with its own set of rules. They gave a lot of information on its location, climate and the endangered species that lived on the island. This project was a good way to practice the usage of modals.
