S E V E C E N 2 0 2 0  189 Karin Tıraşın CLASSCRAFT – BECAUSE KIDS LOVE GAMES! Classcraft is a new, game-based approach to teaching. It’s designed to encourage participation, good behavior, and the development of 21st-century skills. Classcraft integrates easily with normal classroom activities, encouraging teamwork and collaboration while giving students instant feedback on soft skills, such as attendance, homework completion, as well as effort. In Language Arts the game is used to motivate students and to build collaboration and teamwork skills. Here’s what a few of this year’s 7th grades think about Classcraft and some snapshots from the classroom.
