194  S E V E C E N 2 0 2 0 PROMETHEUS Ege DOĞRUYA The story was about the titan Epimetheus and his brother Prometheus. First Zeus gave Epimetheus gifts to give to the creatures on Earth. Then, he stole fire from the gods and gave it to them. The humans used fire to become strong. Finally, Zeus punished Prometheus by chaining him to mountain and having a vulture torture him. Sometimes Prometheus pulls his chains and shakes the mountain. From this myth, the people of Ancient Greece learned to not be curious and the answer to why we have earthquakes. Lara BUDAK The story was about the Titans losing the fight to the gods and two of the titans, Prometheus and Epimetheus, helping the gods to give gifts to every creature. In the beginning, Epimetheus gave all of the gifts to the creatures of the world and in the end there were none left for the humans. Zeus actually wanted the humans to remain weak but Prometheus wanted the humans to receive something too. So, he climbed to the top of mount Olympus and stole the fire. Afterwards, he it to the humans. They used the fire and became very powerful. In the end, Zeus got very mad and tied Prometheus to a mountain. When Prometheus gets crazy and shakes in his chains the mountains shake too. From this myth, the Ancient Greeks learned why we have earthquakes. HERCULES Cem FOTOCAN The story was about a god called Hercules that is unique. One day two of Hadeses workers tried to make Hercules mortal. He needed to drink to the last drop, but he didn’t he was just a baby. A normal family found Hercules and treated him for like 10 years. After that Hercules wanted to find the destiny of himself so he went to Zeus. Zeus wanted him to be a true real hero. Hercules was on a journey to be a real hero. He defeated everyone afterwards he defeated Hades too. Then he was a real true hero. From this myth ancient Greeks learned how to be a true hero. Emir DEMIRKAYA The story was about a hero called Hercules. He was Zeus’ baby son. Hades stole Hercules and accidentally dropped him on the ground. Afterwards, a family found him and educated him and then everybody hated him because he was so strong. Then he went to find his real father and Zeus became so happy that he gave himPegasus. Next, he wanted to be a hero. So he went to Coach Phill who was a hero trainer. Phill trained him so well and he saved a woman and that woman loved him a lot. Hercules also fell in love with her. Finally he saved the world and won the woman. From this myth, the Ancient Greeks learned about true love and about how to be a real hero.
