It’s interesting to learn about a different culture. Defne UÇAR We sent an evil eye in our box. There is an evil eye in my kitchen at home. They are important in Turkish culture. Thank you for the brussel sprout nakins, they are very cute. Happy New Year to all the boys and girls in Radford! Debbie Polat OUR INTERNATIONAL PROJECT Grade two students learnt about a different culture. We discussed what ten items they would choose to represent Turkish culture for our ‘Culture in a Box’ project with Radford Primary School in England. We then talked about what kind of things they thought would receive in the box from England. The students wrote letters to the children in Radford and waited eagerly for the replies!
