76 S E V E C E N 2 0 2 0 Ela TÜJÜMET We sent a letter to our friends in England. We wrote about ourselves. My favourite food is ravioli. My friend, Ryan’s favourite food is fish and chips. My favourite colour is purple, Ryan likes lots of colours! My favourite animal is a bunny, his favourite animal is a cow. Cem ERTURGUT We sent a box to England. We put turkish delight, turkish money, an evil eye, olive soap, flags, Atat rk’s picture, a map of Turkey and Çeşme’s photo. This is a very beautiful project. I learnt about Turkish and English culture. Ela KOÇ I really like the brussel sprout napkins in our bag from Radford they are very funny! I hope you enjoy eating brussel sprouts on Christmas Day with Santa. I love the gingerbread cookies and English tea. Thank you to my English teachers. Aylin İŞÇIMENLER I like the Culture in a Box project and I like learning about England. We sent Turkish flags and balloons, we received English flags. We also received a photo of fish and chips. I ate fish and chips in England. Kerem TIMUR We sent olive soap in our box. I liked the video from England, the gingerbread men and the flags. I want to go to England and eat fish and chips! Doruk ALŞAN I learnt about English culture. I want to meet Queen Elizabeth because I saw her and Prince Philip on the television. I am interested in England.
